The 2014 Arash AF8 Supercar
Last week British car specialist Arash revealed their 2014 AF8 before the Geneva show. This amazing car has ” mid-mounted, naturally-aspirated 7.0 litre V8 producing 410kW and 640Nm, sourced from a Corvette Z06.”
Awesome right, but we have more right here:
The AF8’s body is made from carbon-fibre, and while carbon-fibre is also used on parts of the chassis, the frame is made primarily from steel.
Arash has still managed to keep the weight down to 1200kg, however, which would no doubt contribute to the AF8’s estimated 0-100km/h time of 3.5 seconds, and a top speed of 320km/h.
Six-piston front and four-piston rear brake callipers take care of the stopping, with 380mm discs up front and 362mm at the rear.
he AF8 offers 42 litres of storage from its ‘boot’ (at the front, of course), a heated front windscreen and carbon interior features in a choice of colours.
