Range Rover’s Evoque Coupe
Range Rover has been globally recognized as one of the leading manufacturer’s of SUV’s. Top quality off-road performance is one of Range Rover’s mantra for all it’s SUV’s. This year the car mogul released its Evoque Coupe and targeting the female demographic as a market.
Here’s some tidbits you should know about this stylish machine:
- The range starts at $49,995 plus on-road costs for the front-drive five-door wagon powered by a 110kW 2.2-litre turbo diesel with a six-speed manual transmission in the basic Pure specification but rises to $76,949 (plus on-roads) for the flagship coupe driven by a 177kW 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol four cylinder with all-wheel drive, the company’s new nine-speed automatic and in top-shelf Dynamic trim.
- All new 2014 Range Range Evoque variants feature a new suite of driver assistance functions (optional on lower models and standard on higher grades) that includes Park Exit and Perpindicular Park (automated systems to help exit tight parallel parking bays and to centre the vehicle in parking bays respectively), radar cruise control with collision alert and emergency braking, reverse traffic detection and, for those venturing off the beaten track, a wade sensing system that warns the driver through deep creek crossings.
- Despite the low and sloping roofline of the Evoque Coupe, there’s actually a decent amount of space for the front passengers that, like all SUVs, have a commanding view of the road ahead.
