Nissan’s Infiniti QX30
Nissan recently announced that it will be building its Infiniti QX30 in the UK by the second half of the year. The production will officially takes place once Nissan complete its Infiniti Q30.
Some of the things we found out:
- Nissan has earmarked annual production of 60,000 units for the two compact Infiniti models at its Sunderland plant, which will supply the vehicles around the world, including to China and the US, which are tipped to be two of the models’ largest markets.
- The Infiniti Q30 and QX30 will be based on Daimler’s MFA architecture, which currently underpins the A-Class, B-Class, CLA-Class and GLA-Class compact models.
- The duo would also feature turbocharged 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol and diesel built by its German partner.
